Location/Travel:
This position is open to hires in Washington, D.C.;
Richmond, VA; or remote within the continental U.S. Travel up to 40% in person is anticipated.
The Role In Brief
Associate Director, Advisory, EAB Seramount — DBP Research Development and Advisory. This role supports culture change initiatives through advisory services, research, benchmarking, and client engagement. The team partners with Relationship Management, Marketing, Events, Insights and Solutions to help members achieve workplace culture objectives.
Big Picture Objectives- Serve as an inclusive workforce culture, belonging, and engagement subject matter expert; conduct research when necessary.
- Meet and exceed member expectations to support renewal and retention efforts.
- Serve as a trusted point of contact for member advisory, inquiries, research requests, and communications.
- Collaborate with the EAB Seramount team across departments to help members achieve workplace culture objectives.
- Deliver high-impact solutions to support the client delivery model by spending ~70% of time in market with partners (virtual or in person).
- Develop expertise in workplace culture topics, influencing research and insights to address partner needs.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on workplace culture practices, specializing in Employee Resource Groups and Talent Inclusion; conduct client calls, provide practitioner consulting, and act as a trusted extension of clients’ teams.
- Deliver presentations to DBP partners on a range of topics.
- Collaborate with relationship managers and marketing to identify and develop proposals to secure new member pipelines, close deals, and renewals.
- Support Seramount events and conferences, act as partner advocate for content, and enhance partner experiences.
- Partner with marketing to advise on communications and partner outreach (blogs, resources, promotional messages).
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
- 5+ years in inclusive workplace culture with 3-5+ years in Human Resources and/or consulting.
- Strong understanding of Inclusive Talent Strategies, ERGs, and related organizational impact.
- Ability to build relationships across organizational levels and translate research into client-facing recommendations.
- Experience with stakeholder engagement and change management.
- Detail-oriented, organized, able to multi-task, and able to work independently or in a team.
- Demonstrated accountability toward business goals and a consultative approach to client success.
- Experience preparing workshops and formal client presentations.
- Strong problem-solving, communication (oral and written), and proactive thinking skills.
- Willingness to travel up to 40%.
- Ability to guide and advise on ERGs governance and operations to sustain organizational impact.
- Use diverse experiences to influence workplace culture positioning and buy-in.

The anticipated starting salary (base) range for this role is $72,500 - $110,000 per year. Salary varies by experience, skills, and location. Eligible for discretionary bonus or incentive compensation based on performance.
