UX​/UI Designer

Join our newly formed Digital Commerce and Marketing team and play a critical role in shaping our online user experience. We are seeking a talented and motivated UX/UI Designer to help elevate our digital presence. In this role, you’ll design and maintain the visual appearance and user experience of our eommerce website and other channels, ensuring a seamless and engaging customer journey.

• Design and enhance the visual appearance and user experience of our eCommerce website.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize conversions and improve user engagement metrics.
• Create, update, and enforce a comprehensive website style guide for brand consistency.
• Proactively identify issues and suggest improvements for website functionality and design.
• Design graphic assets for social media, email marketing campaigns, and sales support materials.
• Provide UX/UI design support for other digital assets managed by the Digital Commerce and Marketing Department.
• Conduct user research and implement best practices to optimize customer experiences.
• Develop wireframes, mockups, and prototypes to communicate design ideas effectively.
• Ensure designs are mobile-responsive and optimized for web performance.
• Collaborate with developers and team members to ensure design functionality.
• Stay updated on the latest design trends and digital marketing best practices.
• Perform other duties as required.

Note:

We are more focused on your design talent and passion over education and qualifications.

• Bachelor’s degree or certification in Graphic Design or equivalent experience, in Web Design, Interaction Design, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a UX/UI Designer, preferably in eCommerce.
• Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, etc.
• Strong understanding of UX/UI principles, user-centered design, and responsive design.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
• Strong portfolio showcasing design work and user experience projects.
• Ability to conduct user research and translate findings into design improvements.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with Adobe Commerce (Magento) or similar eCommerce platforms is a plus.
• Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and basic web development principles is an advantage.

Job Type: Temporary, Full-time, Fixed term contract

Pay: $28.85-$31.25 per hour
