Sr. Data & Reporting Analyst – Onsite STL

Innova Solutions has an immediate need for a Sr. Data & Reporting Analyst to work 100% onsite in St. Louis, MO.

This analyst will need to be highly proficient in SQL and have strong reporting experience in Business Objects, Tableau, or Power BI.

• Conduct advanced data analysis to support analytics solutions
• Capture and document data definitions, rules, and quality requirements
• Integrate data from diverse sources for reporting
• Deliver forecasts, dashboards, reports, and ad‑hoc analytics
• Provide insights that drive operational improvements and highlight trends
• Define and implement data quality improvements
• Build tools like forms, dashboards, and generators for end users
• Ensure compliance with reporting standards via quality audits
• Interpret requests and create reporting specifications
• Use mathematical modeling and optimization for strategic planning

• Strong ability to analyze, prioritize, and manage multiple tasks
• Comfortable working independently and collaboratively
• Excellent communication—both written and verbal
• Able to interpret complex datasets and make data‑driven presentations
• Skilled in decision‑making under pressure
• Detail‑oriented with an eye for spotting gaps and opportunities
• Proficient in tools such as Word, Excel, and especially SQL

• Proficiency in SQL
• Ability to write and troubleshoot complex queries across large datasets
• Experience with joins, subqueries, CTEs, window functions, and performance tuning
• Experience with Reporting Tools (ordered by preference)
  • SAP Business Objects—building and maintaining universes, Web Intelligence reports, and dashboards
  • Tableau—creating interactive visualizations, calculated fields, and data blending
  • Power BI—modeling data with DAX, designing scalable reports and dataflows

• Supply Chain Reporting (familiarity with logistics KPIs, inventory metrics, and vendor performance dashboards)
• Finance Analytics (exposure to budgeting, forecasting, cost‑center analysis, and financial reconciliation workflows)

$132,000–200,000 per year (range offered based on factors such as education, experience, location, duties, certifications).
