• Prior experience with systems migration – ability to review current environments, plan migration strategy, build new reports, test and validate new reports
• Experience with Power BI Desktop
• Experience with Power BI Report Builder – Power BI Semantic model
• Medium to advanced SQL writing abilities

• Excellent communication skills is a must. Must be confident collaborating with Business for analysis, feedback, giving presentation, etc.
• Ability to lead, collaborate, or work effectively in a variety of teams, including multi-disciplinary teams

• Client’s IT team is seeking a Senior Systems Analyst with strong analytical skills and attention to detail to provide support converting legacy Cognos reports to Power BI.
• The successful candidate will need to be an expert in all aspects of the System Analyst role.
• The ideal candidate will possess an exceptional understanding of the SA skillset and toolset and have a solid understanding of modern computing technologies.
• The candidate will need to be able to collaborate successfully with clients to understand their business needs and can convert their requirements into system specifications.
• The ability to effectively communicate (written, verbal, presentation) with internal business partners, IT personnel, and external service providers is critical to success in this role.
• The successful candidate will develop new and innovative processes to facilitate the move of client into the exciting opportunity with wind energy.

• Function as a consultant to internal business partners regarding technology and process solutions.
• Facilitate finding, developing, and implementing viable technology solutions for our business partners by working with teammates, IT groups within the company, external service providers, and business partners.
• Provide guidance to internal business partners by knowing what technologies are available to solve complex requirements.
• Interface with internal business partners, IT groups, and external service providers to implement new systems and modify existing systems.
• Facilitate and lead requirements workshops.
• Functionally deconstruct, analyze, and document internal business partners’ systems, problems, processes, and needs.
• Define business requirements and test cases using structured methodologies.
• Effectively lead documentation of business requirements, test cases, use cases, and design thinking exercises.
• Provide written and verbal updates on projects and solutions to IT and business management.
• Develop and deliver training on new or revised system functionality to raise awareness, educate users, and support personnel.

Pay Range: $55-$58/hr w2
