Senior Principal Consultant, Solution Architect SFDC

Cloudious is seeking an experienced Salesforce Solution Architect to design and develop tailored solutions within the Salesforce platform, leading to successful implementations that meet business goals and deliver high value to clients.

• Design and build high-performance, reusable, and reliable Salesforce solutions.
• Identify business processes that can be improved by implementing Salesforce.
• Develop customized solutions within the Salesforce platform.
• Communicate with project managers, clients, and other developers to design cohesive project strategies and ensure effective collaboration.
• Maintain a flexible and proactive work environment to facilitate a quick response to changing project requirements and customer objectives.
• Conduct research into clients’ use of Salesforce, producing a report of findings with recommended steps and a roadmap for Salesforce solutions.
• Lead business process redesign, roadmap planning, and identify touch points in multi‑cloud implementations.
• Lead migration of functionality & data from 3rd‑party applications into Salesforce.
• Develop strong client relationships by building trust, rapport, and positive working relationships with key sponsors, stakeholders, and team members.
• Remain current with leading‑edge industry and technology drivers and innovations including the Salesforce product set.
• Manage discussions with various levels of customer’s business stakeholders.
• Identify and help build services offerings to support rapid time to value for Salesforce implementations.
• Liaise with Salesforce product teams to support client implementations.
• Maintain a target billable utilization aligned to the role.
• Validate solution components, lead customer walkthroughs, and provide guidance to the project manager for key issues/risks to the project.
• Work with internal and customer stakeholders to create prototypes, proof of concepts, and sample mockups as a means of eliciting and defining business requirements.
• Create and own user stories/business requirements documents as an outcome of the requirements gathering sessions.
• Mentor a team of mid‑level and junior developers.

Minimum Qualifications

• B.E.,
  
  B.Tech., or MCA.
• Proven experience as a Solution Architect, with a strong understanding of Salesforce’s platform.
• Experience in Sales Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Data Cloud.
• Experience integrating Salesforce with other 3rd‑party applications using middleware (Mule Soft or Boomi) and REST/SOAP APIs.
• Experience with at least 2–3 large implementations individually or in a lead capacity.
• Experience in CI/CD (Gearset, Copado, Jenkins), Git, VS Code, Azure Dev Ops.
• Deep understanding of user‑centered design methods and standard processes.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment.
• Excellent problem‑solving and communication skills.
• Attention to detail and a strong sense of aesthetics.

Preferred Qualifications

• Certifications in Salesforce/Product Owner.
• 10+ years of experience in the Salesforce ecosystem.
• Ability to apply design thinking in business processes.
• Understanding of business problems and converting them into value streams.
• Experience in migrating functionalities and data from 3rd‑party applications into Salesforce.
• Excellent skills in persuasion and documentation using Excel, Word, graphics, etc.
• Expertise in diagramming tools such as draw.io, Visio, Lucidchart, or Archimate.
• Data modeling capability, including creation of ERDs.
• Familiarity with AWS/Azure for hybrid integrations.
• Experience in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Bootstrap.
• Self‑motivated and capable of making decisions in ambiguous situations.
