UST is searching for a Mobile Device Test Engineer who will develop, document, and revise test plans and procedures for Android and iOS devices, including regression, functional, and ad‑hoc testing.

• OEM Validation:
  Validate test results provided by OEMs and test partners by executing independent test cases and regression plans.
• Sample and Inventory Management:
  Manage test sample requirements, distribution, activation/deactivation, software flashing/upgrades, and inventory tracking.
• Bug Tracking and Resolution:
  Monitor customer‑reported issues, perform root cause analysis, and manage the bug reporting and resolution process using tools like JIRA and Confluence.
• Software Update Certification:
  Test and certify maintenance releases (MRs) and security updates by executing relevant test cases and regression plans.
• Field Testing and Troubleshooting:
  Conduct field testing as needed to reproduce issues and collect diagnostic logs for analysis.

• Education Level – Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent
• Field of Study – Computer Science, Electronics and Telecommunications, Engineering or other related fields.

Compensation Range: $59,

Full‑time, regular employees accrue a minimum of 10 days of paid vacation per year, receive 6 days of paid sick leave each year (pro‑rated for new hires throughout the year), 10 paid holidays, and are eligible for paid bereavement leave and jury duty. Benefits offerings vary in Puerto Rico.
