Information Security Analyst – Local to Richmond, VA

The role focuses on monitoring and advising on information security issues related to the systems and workflow at an agency to ensure internal IT security controls are appropriate and operating as intended.

Coordinate and execute IT security related projects; respond to security incidents; develop and publish policies, procedures, standards, and guidelines; conduct campus‑wide data classification assessments and security audits; manage remediation plans; collaborate with IT management, Internal Audit, and VITA to manage security vulnerabilities; create, manage and maintain user security awareness; conduct security research; and prepare IT security documentation, including department policies and procedures, agency notifications, web content, and alerts.
