Position Description
The Salesforce Administrator will be part of a Salesforce Administration Team that supports the ongoing development of our application. The successful candidate will have a record of success in improving processes and adoption using the Salesforce platform. The administrator will work closely with Senior Salesforce Leads, Salesforce Admins, Salesforce Developers, Testers, functional leaders, organizational units, and subject matter experts to identify, develop, and deploy new processes including member applications, site reviews, quality proceedings, and other core processes within the organization.
The Salesforce Administrator will work with other Salesforce team members to help on the day‑to‑day configuration, support, maintenance, and improvement of our CRM platform.
- Serve as a system administrator for the environment as part of a team
- Handle basic administrative functions including user account maintenance, reports and dashboards, flows, and other routine tasks
- Develop and manage rules around process/flow diagrams, validation, fields, advanced formulas, and custom objects
- Work in and deploy from a multi‑sandbox environment; participate and support the creation of test plans, creating test cases, establishing protocols for appropriate environments
- Complete regular internal system audits and prepare for upgrades
- Support data feeds and other integrations
- Coordinate the evaluation, scope, and completion of new development requests
- Work within the organization to establish suitable processes to support administrative, development, and change‑management activities
- Assist in training new users and grow the skill set across the organization
- Effectively work with our users, vendors, and the application development teams as needed for projects
- Work with Business Analysts to help define and document requirements as needed
- Research and document new Salesforce‑related technology solutions as needed for projects and enhancements to business needs
- 2 years of experience working with the Salesforce application required; candidates with 4+ years of experience are strongly preferred
- Salesforce Administrator Certification (will consider other Salesforce certifications)
- Strong understanding of the platform, with the ability to build custom apps and objects, formula fields, flows, custom views, and other content of intermediate complexity
- Ability to work in the Lightning UI and understand and build Lightning pages and apps
- Ability to prioritize and handle multiple requests
- Proven ability to design and implement new processes and facilitate user adoption
- Understanding of relational databases and data integration tools
- Ability to critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, decompose high‑level information into details
- Ability to assess the impact of new requirements on and all upstream and downstream applications, systems and processes
- A documented history of successfully driving projects to completion
- A demonstrated ability to understand and articulate complex requirements
- Previous experience working in a SCRUM or agile environment
- Understand all Salesforce security, including but not limited to Roles, Profiles, Salesforce Shield, Permission Sets, MFA, etc.

- Understanding of Conga Sign, Conga Solutions, Skuid, Marketing Cloud, Marketing Cloud Data Extension, Copado, or Nonprofit Cloud is a plus
- 4‑year degree in Business, Computer Science, or equivalent work experience
- General office demands: prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer; frequent reaching, handling, and fine manipulation for using office equipment, filing, and managing paperwork; manual dexterity sufficient to operate a keyboard, mouse, and other office tools; occasional standing, walking, and bending; ability to lift up to 10‑20 pounds occasionally; vision abilities required include close vision for computer work and reading documents;
