We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to support medium to large-scale initiatives in a hybrid work environment. This role requires the ability to work onsite in Richmond, VA as needed. Only candidates located in or near the Richmond area will be considered due to onsite requirements.
The Business Analyst will work closely with agile delivery teams, technical staff, business stakeholders, and vendors to gather, document, and manage business and system requirements throughout the SDLC.
Responsibilities- Gather, analyze, and document business and system requirements for medium to large projects
- Collaborate with agile delivery teams, technical staff, business partners, and vendors
- Define and maintain requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria
- Track requirements throughout the full SDLC lifecycle
Identify, document, and help mitigate project risks - Develop UAT test scripts from use cases and support UAT execution
- Ensure requirements are clearly communicated and aligned with business needs
- Use analytical skills to evaluate solution options and recommend improvements
- Support project documentation using standard tools and processes
Skills & Qualifications
- 10 years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst
- 5 years of experience working with agile delivery teams
- 5 years of experience capturing requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria
- 5 years of experience writing UAT test scripts and performing UAT testing
- 5 years of experience identifying and managing project risks
- 5 years of experience tracking requirements across SDLC
- Strong experience with Microsoft Office 365
, Azure Dev Ops (ADO),
JIRA
, and Confluence - Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
- Ability to meet deadlines with minimal supervision
- Excellent client‑facing and internal communication skills
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and multitasking capability
