A day in the life…

• Develop and maintain data models (conceptual, logical, and physical) to align with business and technical requirements.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, including business analysts and data engineers, to understand data needs.
• Define data modeling standards and best practices, ensuring consistency across systems.
• Optimize database structures for performance, scalability, and maintainability.
• Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and compliance with governance policies.
• Work with ETL developers to ensure seamless integration of data across different systems.
• Perform data profiling, lineage analysis, and impact assessments for new projects.
• Document metadata, relationships, and business rules in data dictionaries.

What we are looking for…

Required

• Proficiency in data modeling tools (Erwin, IBM Data Architect, etc.).
• Strong SQL skills and knowledge of relational and No
  
  SQL databases.
• Experience with data warehousing and BI tools.
• Understanding of normalization, denormalization, indexing, and partitioning.
• Familiarity with cloud data platforms (AWS Redshift, Snowflake, Azure Synapse, etc.).
