AboutThe Team
As part of the Core HR Experiences Product team, you will:
- Lead product strategy and delivery covering the Benefits, Compensation, Payroll & HR Services for Capital One associates. You’ll take a broad view of both external, market‑leading data, analytics, and Capital One’s enterprise HR priorities to shape an inspiring multi‑year vision and roadmap for our Core HR products.
- Lead a team of world‑class product managers who will continually raise the bar on what good looks like across product strategy and roadmap development, design, documentation, testing and monitoring.
- Partner with a broad range of stakeholders across business, technology, design and the enterprise to ensure we are meeting the needs of our customers while maintaining a holistic view of trade‑offs and risks.
- Collaborate with peers leading data and platform initiatives across the enterprise to ensure continual knowledge sharing and feedback loops to drive innovation and minimise arbitrary uniqueness.
In this role, you’ll be expected to demonstrate proficiency in five key areas which we consider to be the foundation for successful Product management:

- Transformational Leadership – Leads cross‑functional teams to solve customer problems and drive organizational alignment
- At least 7 years of experience working in Product Management
- Currently has, or is in the process of obtaining one of the following with an expectation that the required degree will be obtained on or before the scheduled start date:
- A Bachelor's Degree in a quantitative field (Statistics, Economics, Operations Research, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Information Systems or a related quantitative field)
- A Master's Degree in a quantitative field (Statistics, Economics, Operations Research, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Information Systems or a related quantitative field) or an MBA with a quantitative concentration
- Experience translating business strategy and analysis into consumer facing digital products
- Experience with workforce or HR technology

Compensation and BenefitsSalary
• McLean, VA: $226,000 - $257,900
• Richmond, VA: $205,400 - $234,400
• Other locations: salary based on location. The role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI).
