The Data Analytics Manager will oversee various data management initiatives and directly manage the Data Analytics team, which includes Business Data Analysts and Business Intelligence Developers. This role ensures data solutions align with business strategies and promotes data-based decision‑making effectiveness. Responsibilities include staffing management (hiring, career development, training, and performance management of direct reports), building relationships with business partners and data delivery teams, and supporting the organization’s data and analytics capabilities using modern cloud‑based technologies.

The Data Analytics Manager also provides leadership, research, and design for technology and professional services solutions, ensuring they meet business needs and align with data governance and standards.

Research, Analyst, and Information Technology

Mid‑Senior level, Full‑time

• Lead and manage a team of data analysts or BI developers, including performance management and career development.

• Deliver complex data analysis and business intelligence projects from inception to deployment, demonstrating tangible business value.

• Work effectively in cross‑functional teams with business units and IT functions such as Data Governance, Data Engineering, and Application Development.

• Provide guidance for cloud‑based data platform architecture, preferably Microsoft Azure and related ecosystem products.

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, system analysis or related study, or equivalent experience;
  Master’s degree preferred.
• Several years in Data Analytics/Business Intelligence practice, with 3‑5 years preferred.
• Previous management experience required, with 3‑5 years preferred; proven track record in leading a team of data analysts or BI developers.
• Direct past experience in Data Analysis or BI Development roles beneficial.
• Proven ability to work in cross‑functional teams with various business units and IT functions.
• Track record of delivering complex data analysis and business intelligence projects from inception to deployment.
• Cloud data platform exposure, preferably Microsoft Azure.

• Knowledge of financial/mortgage business data and processes is preferred but not required.
• Certification in Data Management, Data Analytics, Data Engineering, Business Intelligence, or similar is preferred.
