POSITION TITLE Senior Director, Operations Technology POSITION LOCATION This position is available to Virginia residents as Richmond, VA hybrid in-office applicants or remote applicants residing in states/locations under Eastern or Central Standard Time:

* A Hybrid schedule of both Remote and In-Office days would be required if you reside within 50 miles of a Genworth | Care Scout office with working hours targeting our core business hours of 9am-5pm EST. The Senior Director, Operations Technology is a transformational technology leader who will shape and deliver the end-to-end operations technology strategy, technology platforms, services, and processes that support the end-to-end lifecycle of Genworth |Care Scout’s business operations, spanning claims, customer service, case management, and call center capabilities.

Reporting directly to the Head of Engineering, Insurance and Business Operations, this executive serves on the Engineering, Insurance, and Business Operations Leadership Team acting as a trusted partner to Operations, Care Scout Insurance, Risk, Legal, and other IT leaders.

What you will be doing

Technical & Strategic Capabilities Set and own the operations technology vision and technology strategy, architecture, and investment roadmap for platforms that enable business outcomes for operations, inclusive of customer service, claims, call center and digital solutions in alignment with business objectives and the Future-Proof Technology strategy.

Advance modern engineering practices across microservices, APIs, event-driven architecture, cloud platforms, Dev Sec Ops /CI/CD, reliability engineering, and platform operations.
