Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Dev Ops Lead to drive Dev Ops strategy, CI/CD automation, cloud infrastructure, and operational excellence across enterprise applications. The role will provide technical leadership to engineering teams, establish Dev Ops standards and best practices, and ensure reliable, secure, and scalable application delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of CI/CD pipelines for application build, testing, deployment, and release.
Define and implement Dev Ops engineering standards, frameworks, and best practices across development teams.
Design and manage cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) approaches and tools such as Terraform.
Lead containerization and orchestration initiatives using Docker and Kubernetes.
Manage and optimize cloud environments across AWS, Azure, or GCP. Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration, deployments, monitoring, and operational activities.
Establish effective observability, logging, monitoring, and alerting capabilities.
Partner with Development, QA, Architecture, Security, and Infrastructure teams to improve software delivery.
Embed security controls and Dev Sec Ops practices within CI/CD and infrastructure processes.
Drive improvements in deployment reliability, scalability, availability, and operational efficiency.
Troubleshoot complex deployment, infrastructure, performance, and production issues.
Provide technical leadership, guidance, and mentoring to Dev Ops and engineering team members.
Support release planning, environment management, production deployments, and incident resolution.
Identify opportunities to reduce manual effort through automation and engineering improvements.
Required Technical
Skills:
Strong experience with Dev Ops, CI/CD, cloud engineering, and infrastructure automation.
Hands-on experience with CI/CD technologies such as Azure Dev Ops, Jenkins, Git Hub Actions, Git Lab CI/CD, or equivalent.
Strong experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code.
Experience with Docker and Kubernetes, including production deployments.
Strong knowledge of at least one major cloud platform: AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
Experience with Git-based source control and branching strategies.
Knowledge of scripting and automation using Python, Power Shell, Bash, or similar technologies.
Experience with monitoring and observability platforms such as Splunk, Datadog, Grafana, Prometheus, Azure Monitor, or Cloud Watch.
Understanding of networking, IAM, secrets management, security, and cloud governance.
Good understanding of Agile, release management, SRE, and Dev Sec Ops principles.
Leadership & Collaboration Skills Ability to lead Dev Ops technical design and implementation across multiple teams.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work effectively with architects, developers, QA, security, infrastructure, and business stakeholders.
Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical decisions and risks to leadership.
Ability to mentor engineers and drive adoption of engineering standards and automation.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
Relevant AWS/Azure/GCP, Kubernetes, or Dev Ops certifications are preferred.
Experience supporting large-scale enterprise or cloud transformation programs.
Experience implementing Dev Sec Ops , SRE, automated testing, and deployment governance practices.
Experience leading migration from legacy deployment processes to modern automated CI/CD platforms.
Suggested Experience 8+ years of overall IT/engineering experience.
5+ years of Dev Ops/cloud engineering experience. Prior experience functioning as a Dev Ops Lead, Technical Lead, or Cloud/Platform Engineering Lead.
