Production Support Engineer – MTF-PM Payment CycleSeeking a Production Support Engineer to support the MTF-PM payment cycle and production operations in AWS. The role is responsible for monitoring and executing production workflows, troubleshooting failures, supporting system and file integrations, and ensuring payment-cycle processing completes accurately and on schedule.
Responsibilities- Monitor and execute scheduled MTF-PM payment-cycle workflows, including AWS Glue jobs, Lambda functions, Step Functions, and file-based integrations.
- Support key payment-cycle activities including data aggregation, report generation, job reruns/recovery, production validations, voucher processing, and payment-file generation.
- Support integrations with Deltek Costpoint, including voucher loads and payment-related processing.
- Monitor and troubleshoot inbound/outbound file transfers and investigate missing, delayed, or failed files.
- Monitor production processing using AWS Cloud Watch logs, metrics, and alerts and troubleshoot failed or delayed workflows.
- Monitor and troubleshoot Amazon Quick Sight dashboards, datasets, and SPICE refreshes.
- Perform production troubleshooting and validation using SQL, Python, application logs, and AWS tools.
- Follow and maintain runbooks/SOPs, document incidents and root causes, and communicate production status and issues to stakeholders.
- Support continued automation and orchestration of the payment cycle using AWS Step Functions.
- 3+ years of experience in production support, application support, or cloud operations.
- Hands-on experience with AWS Glue, Lambda, Step Functions, S3, Cloud Watch, and Quick Sight/SPICE.
- Experience supporting batch processing, scheduled workflows, and file-based integrations.
- Experience supporting or integrating with enterprise applications such as Deltek Costpoint or similar ERP/payment systems.
- Strong SQL skills and working knowledge of Python for troubleshooting and operational support.
- Strong troubleshooting, incident-management, communication, and documentation skills.
