Position Overview:

We are seeking qualified Onsite Multilingual Interpreters to provide in-person interpretation services. The ideal candidate will be fluent in English and at least one of the high-demand languages (e.g., Spanish, Vietnamese, Chinese, Arabic, Burmese, Korean, Somali, and others), and will have professional interpreting experience in medical, legal, educational, or community environments.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide accurate, confidential, and impartial interpretation between limited-English-proficient individuals and English speakers.

Interpret consecutively and/or simultaneously as required in diverse settings.

Adhere to professional ethics, including client confidentiality and impartiality.

Support clients with cultural competence and sensitivity.

Accurately complete daily logs, timesheets, and activity reports as needed.

Qualifications:

Fluency in English and at least one other spoken language.

Minimum of 1 year of professional onsite interpreting experience preferred.

Medical, legal, or community interpreting certification (CCHI, NBCMI, or court certification) is a plus.

High school diploma or equivalent required;
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Punctuality, reliability, and professionalism are essential.

Ability and willingness to travel within assigned regions in Oklahoma.

Additional Requirements:

Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Background check and TB test may be required based on the assignment.

Proof of COVID-19 vaccination or exemption, depending on client requirements.
