Language Services Associates is seeking Russian interpreters in the Richmond, VA area. As part of LSA’s network of Independently Contracted Interpreters, your role will involve facilitating language communication for the Limited English Proficient (LEP) community across various settings such as medical, legal, and customer service. LSA continuously accepts qualified interpreters for diverse interpreting assignments.

• Provide high-quality customer service
• Follow the Code of Professional Conduct, maintaining confidentiality
• Adhere to policies, procedures, interpretation protocols, and industry best practices
• Complete required training and participate in ongoing Quality Assurance monitoring

• Full fluency in English and Russian
• Knowledge of and ability to follow industry standard best practices (professionalism, courtesy, confidentiality)
• Excellent client service skills
• Access to personal or public transportation
• 2+ years of professional interpreting experience preferred
• Industry-specific certifications (e.g., CMI, CCHI) preferred
