Family Law Attorney – Richmond & Northern Virginia

Prospect Blue is working with a growing mid-size law firm looking to hire a Senior Family Law Attorney in their Richmond and Northern Virginia offices. This hybrid, full-time role is ideal for a confident family law practitioner to manage complex cases and help grow the firm’s Virginia practice. The Senior Family Law Attorney position is a great opportunity to take a leading role at the firm and there is partnership potential for the right attorney candidates!

What You’ll Do:

• Handle complex family law matters including divorce, custody, support, and protective orders
• Manage cases from intake through resolution with strong paralegal and administrative support
• Represent clients in court, mediations, and depositions
• Provide thoughtful, compassionate guidance to clients
• Mentor junior attorneys and collaborate with the legal team

Desired Qualifications & Compensation:

• J.D. and active Virginia law license required
• 3-8 years of prior family law experience with strong litigation skills desired
• Excellent writing, communication, and negotiation abilities
• Leadership mindset with a client-first approach
