Job Description & How to Apply Below
Description

NSI requires a Supply Data Analyst to support the PMA 265 Program Office. The Supply Data Analyst provides support to Weapons System Program Managers (WSPMs) focused on Naval aviation weapon systems. The position collects, integrates, and analyzes DLA transactional supply data from the Enterprise Business System (EBS)—DLA’s logistics ERP system of record—and connected data warehouses, marts, tables, and reporting tools. Using the data, the analyst generates NIIN-level supply posture and fulfillment reconciliations that help WSPMs and Navy stakeholders resolve requisition backlogs, mitigate supply risks, and improve readiness.

Extract and stage transactional records (e.g., requisitions, orders, receipts, issues, stock balances, procurement actions) from EBS and related portals/data services (e.g., Enterprise External Business Portal, Enterprise Advanced Analytics (EA2)). Access authoritative item master and catalog data (e.g., NSN/NIIN, CAGE, INC) from WebFLIS/FLIS resources as needed to ensure item-level data integrity. Develop repeatable data pipelines that join master data, transactions, and distribution/posture tables to produce trusted, refreshable NIIN dashboards for WSPM use.

(Supported by EA2 supply performance data services). Produce recurring NIIN-by-NIIN supply posture summaries that show on-hand/on-order quantities, due-ins/due-outs, demand history/forecast, backorders/aging, procurement lead times, and customer wait time (CWT). (EA2 provides logistics performance metrics feeds used to populate posture views.) Reconcile the end-to-end fulfillment of DLA-managed requisitions by tracing each NIIN’s lifecycle through order creation, sourcing, shipment, receipt, and issue;

highlight variances (e.g., long aging, partial fills, cancels, SOS changes). Maintain authoritative mapping between NSN (13-digit) and NIIN (last nine digits; two-digit NCB code + seven-digit item number) to ensure accurate item tracking and roll-ups across changing FSCs.
