Golf Course Superintendent

About the Role
Reporting directly to the
Director of Golf Courses and Grounds
, the Golf Course Superintendent will be responsible for leading the day-to-day maintenance and management of our 27-hole golf facility. The Superintendent will work collaboratively with a team of Assistant Superintendents, the Grounds Superintendent, and Equipment Technicians to ensure exceptional course conditions and member satisfaction.
This is a hands-on leadership role that requires strong agronomic knowledge, attention to detail, and excellent team management skills.
Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily golf course maintenance and operations across 27 holes and practice facilities
• Plan and execute cultural practices, moisture management, pest control, and course conditioning
• Manage and develop staff, including scheduling, training, and performance evaluation
• Assisting with irrigation operation, troubleshooting, and repair
• Assisting in annual budgeting and capital project planning
• Coordinate with other departments and serve as a professional representative of the grounds team
• Communicate effectively with members and attend club and departmental meetings

Qualifications

• Degree in Turf Management, Agronomy, or a related field
• Minimum 3 years of experience as an
  Assistant Superintendent
• Proven success in managing cool- and warm-season turf in the
  transition zone
• Current Pesticide Applicant's License (or ability to obtain within 90 days)
• Valid driver's license
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
• Salary:$75,000 - $80,000 per year
