A leading manufacturer in the power systems industry is seeking Materials Manager in the greater Richmond, Virginia area.
Candidates Must Have:
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, industrial engineering, or a related field is required for this role.
- 8 years of materials management experience in a power systems, modular system, or heavy equipment manufacturing environment.
- Demonstrated understanding of electrical and mechanical component supply chains (HVAC components, structural materials, cable assemblies).
- Thorough knowledge of BOM structure, demand planning and material requirements planning (MRP).
- Demonstrated experience with ERP/MRP systems and data analytics tools in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience in overseeing all facets of materials planning, inventory control, and logistics to support smooth and continuous production operations.
