$25–$30 (based on experience)

Overview

The ideal candidate is experienced with CNC machining centers, capable of operating CNC lathes, has a solid understanding of Fanuc controls, and is proficient operating manual machining equipment. This position requires a strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and a team‑oriented attitude to ensure high‑quality, efficient production in a collaborative shop environment.

Job Duties & Primary Responsibilities
  • Set up, and operate CNC Lathe to produce precision parts per specifications
  • Select proper tooling and fixtures, perform tool offsets and adjustments for optimal performance
  • Inspect finished parts to maintain quality standards
  • Maintain machines and work areas, performing basic preventive maintenance and reporting issues promptly
  • Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals and improve workflow
  • Contribute to a positive, team‑driven environment, promoting communication and problem‑solving across shifts and departments
Required

Skills & Qualifications
  • Minimum 2‑4 years of CNC operating CNC Lathes
  • Proficient in G‑Code
  • Strong understanding of machining processes, materials, fixtures and tooling
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
  • Proficiency using measurement instruments, including micrometers and calipers
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team
  • Good communication and problem‑solving skills
Preferred Skills (Non‑essential)
  • Ability to write and edit CNC programs, preferably CAD/CAM
  • Solid understanding of and experience with Fanuc controls
  • Manual machining experience
  • Forklift and hoist operation and general shop safety training
Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent
