Hourly Rate: $25–$30 (based on experience)

Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate is experienced with Haas machining centers, capable of operating CNC mills, and proficient with manual machining equipment. This position requires a strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and a team‑oriented attitude to ensure high‑quality, efficient production in a collaborative shop environment.

Job Duties & Primary Responsibilities
  • Set up and operate CNC machining centers to produce precision parts per specifications
  • Select proper tooling and fixtures; perform tool offsets and adjustments for optimal performance
  • Inspect finished parts to maintain quality standards
  • Use measurement instruments, including micrometers and calipers
  • Maintain machines and work areas, performing basic preventive maintenance and reporting issues promptly
  • Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals and improve workflow
  • Contribute to a positive, team‑driven environment, promoting communication and problem‑solving across shifts and departments
Required

Skills & Qualifications
  • Minimum 2‑4 years operating CNC mills, preferably with a Haas VF mill
  • Proficiency in G‑Code
  • Strong understanding of machining processes, materials, and tooling
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team
  • Good communication and problem‑solving skills
Preferred Skills (Non‑essential)
  • Ability to write and edit CNC programs, preferably using CAD/CAM
  • Manual machining experience
  • Forklift and hoist operation and general shop safety training
Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent
