Shift Information: 2nd shift - Mon-Fri, 2:30 pm - 10:00 pm.

BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF POSITION (Job Duties and Responsibilities)
  • Use Personal Protective Equipment (Safety Glasses, Steel Toe Shoes, Gloves, Uniforms) consistently and accurately.
  • Receive daily work assignments from the Team Leader/Manager and execute production according to Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Report deviations (Safety, Quality, Parts, Equipment) immediately and update the Status Boards.
  • Participate actively in Daily Status Board Meetings, explain deviations, and propose solutions.
  • Review and suggest improvements for Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Identify waste reduction opportunities and drive KAIZEN improvements.
  • Engage in daily and weekly 5S routines to maintain high standards.
  • Seek cross-training opportunities across different manufacturing processes.
  • Utilize downtime to learn new processes and implement improvements.
ORGANIZATIONAL COMPONENTS
  • Report directly to the Team Manager.
  • Stop production in case of safety, quality, or environmental deviations.
  • Highlight problems and deviations.
  • Initiate problem resolution and improvement activities.
  • Communicate with Support Functions as needed.

  • Scrap & Rework percentage
  • Adherence to routines (TPM, checklists)

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND CERTIFICATIONS
  • High School diploma or GED minimum.
  • Manufacturing Technician certifications preferred.
  • Crane & Forklift certifications are a plus.
  • 2-3 years manufacturing experience with machinery, equipment, jigs, measuring instruments.
  • Ability to read drawings, blueprints, and manufacturing orders.
  • Intermediate computer skills.
PHYSICAL & ENVIRONMENTAL REQUIREMENTS
  • Ability to lift up to 60 pounds.
  • Read Safety Data Sheets for aerosols and coolants.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS

No travel required.
