Assembler II - GPHE SU3- 2nd Shift

Objective: Putting components together to build finished products, requiring strong manual dexterity, attention to detail, and ability to follow blueprints/instructions in a fast‑paced setting. Key duties include using hand/power tools, performing quality checks, documenting processes, maintaining a clean workspace, and collaborating with teams, often involving repetitive tasks.

Shift schedule: Monday through Friday, 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM, overtime as needed including weekends.

Salary: $23.50 hourly + shift .75 stipend.

• Accurate & consistent use of personal protective equipment (Safety Glasses, Steel Toe Shoes, Gloves, Uniforms as required by the specific process).
• Receive daily work assignments from the Team Leader / Team Manager and execute production with Standard Operating Procedures and blueprints as a base.
• Report any deviations (Safety, Quality, Parts, Equipment, etc.) to Status Boards immediately and update the Team Leader / Team Manager.
• Be active and engaged in Daily Status Board Meetings by explaining deviations and proposing solutions.
• Review & suggest improvements for Standard Operating Procedures.
• Identify waste (time, motion, transportation, inventories, etc.) elimination opportunities in your area and drive KAIZEN improvements.
• Engage in daily & weekly 5S routines to achieve and sustain high 5S standards.
• Explore cross‑training opportunities within different manufacturing processes to add value.
• Use downtime to learn new processes and implement improvements from status board activities.
