$24.00 - $25.00/Hour

• Set up and operate CNC machines such as plasma cutters, beam drill lines, and angle lines to process structural steel components
• Read and interpret fabrication drawings, blueprints, and work orders to determine job specifications
• Load and secure steel beams, plates, and other materials using overhead cranes and rigging equipment
• Monitor machine operation, making adjustments for accuracy and quality as needed
• Use precision measuring tools such as tape measures, calipers, and squares to verify tolerances
• Perform basic programming edits or adjustments to accommodate different material sizes or thicknesses
• Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshooting on CNC machinery to ensure reliable operation
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment in accordance with OSHA and shop safety protocols

• High school diploma or GED required; technical or trade school training preferred
• 2+ years of CNC machine operation in a structural steel fabrication or heavy manufacturing environment
• Ability to read and interpret structural steel shop drawings
• Skilled in using precision measurement tools
• Experience with overhead cranes, forklifts, and rigging preferred
• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
