We re hiring a Production Assistant to support a local manufacturing operation. This role works alongside a Lead Operator to help set up, run, and maintain a high-quality printed materials.

• Assist the Lead Operator with setup, make-ready, and job changes.
• Install plates, blankets, and packing sheets using basic hand tools.
• Adjust feeder mechanisms, grippers, guides, and delivery components for proper operation.
• Help remove and replace rollers and make pressure adjustments as needed.
• Clean blankets, rollers, and fountains using approved solvents and equipment.
• Support color, registration, and quality adjustments before and during production.
• Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs under direction of the Lead Operator.
• Follow all safety procedures, including lockout/tagout protocols where required.

• Ability to read job specifications and prepare materials for setup.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to follow detailed instructions.
• Ability to perform basic adjustments to feeder systems and components.
• Willingness to learn and grow under experienced operators.

• Standing for most of the shift.
• Repetitive hand/wrist motions.
• Reaching and lifting as needed.
• Overtime based on production needs.
