The Opportunity

SGF is seeking a Virginia‑based Program Manager to lead the implementation of ELEVATE
, a comprehensive online education and training initiative designed to strengthen outcomes for system‑impacted youth, families, and the professionals who support them.

This role is ideal for a relationship‑driven, detail‑oriented leader with deep experience in behavioral health, youth‑serving systems, or workforce development, who thrives at the intersection of program execution, stakeholder engagement, and data collection.

The Program Manager will be instrumental in scaling a high‑visibility initiative, aiming to reach thousands of learners in 2026 (5,000+). This involves cultivating trusted relationships across diverse sectors, including healthcare, social services, education, and justice systems.

What You’ll Do
  • Lead the successful execution, delivery, and evaluation of a multi‑audience online education program serving professionals, caregivers, and youth.
  • Track engagement, outcomes, and impact metrics; deliver clear monthly insights and recommendations to inform continuous improvement.
  • Ensure all content is evidence‑based, culturally responsive, trauma‑informed, and accessible.
  • Oversee digital learning tools, toolkits, and resources that strengthen wrap‑around supports and protective factors.
Relationship Building & Stakeholder Engagement
  • Build and sustain strong partnerships with:
  • Behavioral health and healthcare professionals
  • County social workers, juvenile justice professionals, and court partners
  • Foster care, kinship, and adoption support agencies
  • Workforce development and employer partners
  • Serve as a subject matter resource on Medicaid and Medicare policy as it relates to youth and family services.
  • Collaborate closely with external partners (e.g., marketing, grantor) to support program reach and engagement.
Training, Facilitation & Capacity Building
  • Deliver engaging virtual and in‑person presentations for various audiences.
  • Facilitate learning spaces that are interactive, practical, and grounded in real‑world application.
  • Provide technical assistance and follow‑up support to program participants.
  • Stay current on research and best practices related to youth development, trauma‑informed care, resilience, and workforce readiness.
  • Ensure program activities align with relevant federal, state, and local policies.

  • ELEVATE is fully implemented in multiple states with strong engagement across professionals, caregivers, and youth (5,000+)
  • Stakeholders view you as a trusted partner and reliable point of connection
