The Registered Nurse - Assistant Nurse Manager
-Spinal Cord Injury (Unit 1U) is located at the Richmond Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Richmond, Virginia. This role involves assisting the Nurse Manager with assessment, planning, provision, and evaluation of nursing services on inpatient and outpatient services within the Spinal Cord Injury Unit.
- Provide care and counseling, promote health, and prevent illness based on the nursing process.
- Assist with staff training, orientation, and supervision, including evaluating job performance.
- Oversee quality patient care delivery and serve as a role model, educator, and leader within the interdisciplinary team.
- Support the Nurse Manager in scheduling, proficiency assessments, and HR concerns.

- Graduate of an accredited nursing program with current licensure
- Experience in spinal cord injury, rehabilitation, or leadership preferred
- Background/security investigation and drug screening
