• Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) license
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 1 year of recent Med/Surg nursing experience
• Strong clinical skills, compassionate and engaged personality
• Preferred: NIH Stroke certification, ACLS certification

• Deliver direct patient care on a general medical surgical floor, specializing in stroke and neuro patients
• Collaborate with RNs, clinical techs, and unit secretary to provide high‑quality healthcare
• Monitor and document patient status using Meditech EMR system
• Assist with standard nursing procedures and interventions as required
• Maintain a safe, clean, and compliant work environment following hospital protocols
• Foster a positive team atmosphere and contribute to the unit’s reputation for clinical excellence
