Virginia Rehab Physicians is seeking an empathetic and tech-savvy Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our expanding team dedicated to improving functional independence and quality of life. This full-time position (~24 hours per week) offers excellent work-life balance with flexible scheduling.
As a healthcare provider specializing in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (PM&R), we are committed to delivering proactive, accessible, and consultative services. Our team works closely with patients, families, and caregivers to create personalized care plans that address the holistic needs of each individual.
We are looking for a clinician who shares our vision of providing every patient with access to high-quality healthcare and who is passionate about improving patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct in-person visits with patients in skilled nursing facilities, focusing on mobility, functional recovery, and overall quality of care.
- Collaborate with leading PM&R physicians to develop care plans and treatment recommendations that prioritize pain management and functional independence.
- Provide consultations and make treatment recommendations in collaboration with skilled nursing facility staff using a team-based approach.
Skills Required:
- Licensed Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in Virginia.
- Efficiency in workflows and clinical triage/care.
- Empathy and a genuine interest in providing care for patients with rehabilitation needs.
- Strong interpersonal skills, integrity, and the ability to collaborate effectively with patients, families, and the care team.
- Experience in skilled nursing facilities (SNFs) or acute rehab settings.
- Experience in PM&R, geriatrics, orthopedics, neurology, palliative care, or pain management.
This position offers competitive pay, with compensation based on experience and productivity, plus additional performance-based bonuses.
We follow CDC guidelines, including Covid-19 vaccination requirements, for all clinical staff. Practitioners are responsible for maintaining up-to-date licenses, certifications, and credentials, and complying with health screening and vaccination policies.
