Travel RN - Med​/Surg

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Orthopedics and General Surgery position in Virginia requiring a compact or VA RN license.

Job Details

• Work in a hospital setting on the 5F Orthopedics and General Surgery unit,

• Patient population includes orthopedic and general surgery cases on a med/surg floor,

• 12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM,

• 13-week contract assignment,

Job Requirements

• Active VA or compact RN license required,

• Minimum 1 year of recent med/surg nursing experience in the specialty,

• Current American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC) BLS certification required,

• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the last 12 months,

• U.S. Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration,

Additional Information

• Care includes monitoring post-op orthopedic and general surgery patients and assisting with recovery,

• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary healthcare team,

• Holiday coverage may be required as scheduled,
