RN - Mother-Baby​/Post Partum

This is a 13-week contract position.

The Labor and Delivery Nurse will provide comprehensive care for patients in the Maternal Infant Unit, facilitating labor, delivery, and postpartum care. This role requires a commitment to maintaining high standards of patient safety and comfort, while adhering to current protocols and procedures.

• Monitor and manage labor and delivery processes, ensuring optimal maternal and neonatal outcomes.
• Provide care for antepartum patients, including assessment and intervention as necessary.
• Assist with vaginal deliveries, C-sections, and newborn care.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient care.
• Adhere to institutional policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.

• At least 2 years of labor experience required.
• Certifications:
  
  BLS, ACLS, NRP, and AWHONN Fetal monitoring certification.
• Preferred: 2+ years of labor experience with a history working in an LDRP with high birth volumes.
