Deliver routine nursing care and support to individuals with behavioral health and medical needs. Administer medications, conduct assessments, collect specimens, and collaborate with treatment teams. Operate under supervision and follow established protocols to ensure safe and effective client care.
North Campus is 24 hour facility, hiring for all position options;
Full-time, Part-time, and PRN to work day, evening, and/or overnight shifts.

Administer medications and injections according to nursing standards and provider orders
Conduct health assessments, monitor vital signs, and evaluate client responses to treatment
Perform venipuncture, urine drug screens, and other lab specimen collections
Review and document medication adherence and side effects
Collaborate with physicians, case managers, and pharmacies to coordinate care
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in electronic health records
Order and organize medical supplies and maintain clean work spaces
Educate clients on medication and wellness practices
Participate in team meetings and communicate client status and needs
Other duties as assigned
Position RequirementsMinimum Qualifications
— Education and Experience
- Associate degree or two-year technical certificate in nursing
- 1–3 years of experience in mental health or medical nursing
- Licensed Practical Nurse credential from the Virginia Board of Nursing
- CPR and CPI certifications
- OR?an equivalent combination of education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities that demonstrates the capacity to perform the essential functions of the position, as permitted by applicable regulatory standards.
- Possession of a valid Virginia driver’s license and a satisfactory driving record in accordance with agency policy.
- Experience in psychiatric, long-term care, or residential settings
- Familiarity with electronic health record systems
- Training in trauma-informed care and motivational interviewing
- Knowledge of nursing standards, medication protocols, and safety regulations
- Skill in administering injections and collecting lab specimens
- Skill in communicating effectively with clients and interdisciplinary teams
- Ability to identify potential problems and elevate concerns appropriately
- Ability to learn and retain processes through instruction and apply them independently
- Ability to organize information and maintain accurate records
- This position does not supervise or function in a lead worker capacity.
This role, generally performs work under the following conditions:
- Medium Work:
Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects, including the human body. While lifting demands may vary, employees in this category must demonstrate consistent mobility and physical readiness to engage in field-based work. This includes operating a motor vehicle, walking extended distances, and accessing locations that may require climbing stairs or traversing uneven terrain. - Close concentration and visual attention required.
