Code stroke response and post-procedure inpatient care for neurointerventional surgery patients.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Board:
Board Certified: AANP - Licenses:
Active VA license (preferred); eligibility to apply accepted. - Certifications:
ACLS, BLS required; AANP board certification required. - Experience:
Neurocritical care nursing experience and neurovascular experience with code stroke alerts. - Other
Qualifications:
Clean background, no malpractice or license issues.
- Respond to code stroke alerts.
- Provide post-procedure inpatient care for neurointerventional surgery patients.
- Monitor and manage patient neurological status.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary team including neurosurgery and neurology.
- Document patient assessments and interventions in EPIC.
