Assignment DurationThis is a 13-week contract position.
ScheduleShifts are variable and include:
- Days: 7 AM / 9 AM / 11 AM
- Evenings: 11 AM / 1 PM / 3 PM
- Nights: 7 PM start
The Emergency Department is seeking dedicated Registered Nurses to join our team. The unit has 24 beds and a fast track of 5 beds, with staffing levels adjusted according to patient volume and arrival patterns. Nurses will work collaboratively alongside charge nurses, techs, and paramedics to provide critical care to patients in an emergency setting.
Responsibilities- Maintain patient safety and provide high-quality emergency care.
- Conduct assessments and develop care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as ordered.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary health team.
- Educate patients and families regarding health conditions.
- Active RN license in the state of Virginia.
- Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications.
- NIHSS certification preferred.
