American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) night shift position requiring a VA or compact RN license and at least 12 months of recent PCU experience.

• Acute Care Medicine PCU unit in a hospital setting
• Patient ratio of 1:4
• Night shift schedule, 3x12-hour shifts from 19:00 to 07:00
• Uses EPIC EMR system
• Local candidates accepted at the same rate

• Active RN license (VA or Compact) currently in hand
• Minimum of 12 months of recent experience in a PCU or telemetry setting
• BSN preferred, but diploma and Associate degree graduates from accredited schools (ACEN or CCNE) will be accepted
• Candidates must not have been employed by this health system within the previous 12 months

• Provide telemetry-level nursing care to acute medicine patients requiring progressive monitoring
• May request one holiday off per winter season; requests for more than one will not be considered
• Facility maintains a drug and tobacco-free workplace, including no smoking on campus
• Facility enforces a natural nail policy for all clinical staff
• Scheduling over 40 hours per week requires manager approval
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
