As a member of our team, you will perform grounds maintenance operations for the Facilities Management Services Group, including trimming and mowing grass and shrubs.

• Trimming and/or mowing of all grass and other vegetation throughout the entire facility.
• Trimming of shrubs, hedges, and trees with appropriate tools.
• Edging to maintain a clear area from ½ inch of all pavements, curbs, and sidewalk edges.
• Continual maintenance of landscaped areas and flower beds, including weed removal, flower planting, mulch application, and watering.
• Minor clean‑up of areas using rakes and brooms and loading of debris and trash on trucks for disposal.
• Routine policing of grounds for loose trash and pick‑up of trash from outdoor receptacles.
• Cleaning and maintenance of sand areas at playgrounds.
• Cleaning of houses and minor renovations such as carpet removal, cabinet removal, appliance removal, and other items as required.
• Setup, tear down, and relocating security fencing on off‑site projects.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Three years of general experience in this or a similar field.
• Ability to work in inclement weather, including temperature extremes, rain, and snow.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to perform repetitious bending at the waist, kneeling, and overhead lifting.
