Join our team at Stonehenge Veterinary Hospital in Richmond, VA as a Veterinary Receptionist! We are looking for a friendly and efficient individual who is passionate about providing excellent customer service to our clients and their beloved pets.

• Welcome clients and their pets to the clinic with a warm and courteous demeanor
• Check in/out clients in a timely and efficient manner
• Answer incoming calls professionally and route calls or messages to other staff members
• Schedule appointments for doctors, groomer, and surgery
• Prepare patient forms and files ahead of appointments for easy access
• Handle emergency cases by keeping clients and patients at ease
• Review patients' records to ensure immunizations and tests are up to date
• Notify the doctor promptly of patient arrivals and conditions
• Invoice appointments and process payments
• Ensure clients complete necessary forms accurately before discharge
• Fill prescription food and monthly preventative requests
• Receive and process prescription requests
• Fax/email prescription requests and referral documents
• Process incoming lab reports and deliver to appropriate doctor
• Close out and reconcile reports daily
• Maintain a clean work area
• Must be able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment

• Proficiency with ezyVet or other veterinary software
• Understanding of preventive care protocols

We offer a competitive salary range of $37,000 to $45,000 annually, along with health insurance, 401(k) options, flexible schedules, vacation leave, sick leave, and holiday pay.
