The Pace of Richmond at Keller Williams Richmond West Realty is looking for an experienced, strategic, and people‑focused leader to spearhead a culture‑first real estate team in Central Virginia.
Location:
Richmond, VA
Pay range: $75,000.00/yr – $/yr
SummaryWe seek a Director of Sales with 3+ years of real estate experience who has proven leadership or management experience. The role requires a licensed real estate professional who can inspire agents, drive results, and grow businesses—not just close sales. The ideal candidate thrives in a collaborative, data‑driven environment and is passionate about coaching, accountability, and mentorship.
Responsibilities- Lead the mission and vision of The Pace of Richmond
- Recruit, hire, train, coach, and hold accountable all agents to their goals
- Prospect your database for leads to refer to the team, generating additional income for the role
- Consult with clients to ensure fiduciary service of the real estate transaction from initial contact through contract to close
- Respond to all new leads and refer them to agents on the team until this position is expanded to a full‑time role
- Develop expert knowledge regarding mortgage financing, neighborhoods, schools, and home ownership issues
- Lead generation for agents and new clients, following up with leads daily
- Oversee all sales agents, providing accountability, support, and guidance
- Engage in daily communications with agent recruits/candidates, team agents, buyers/sellers/vendors, and the database; weekly engagement with team leadership
- Manage all sales agents as part of overall team leadership responsibilities
- Accountability‑based leadership
- Excellent rapport building skills
- People‑oriented, with strong written and verbal communication skills
- Understanding and ability to track KPIs

- Ability to build and lead a team
- Willingness to learn scripts and dialogues
- High school graduate
- Active real estate license
- 3+ years of industry and sales experience preferred
- 1–3 years of management experience preferred
- Proven success in agent recruiting and retention
