Dishwashers at Hardywood are responsible for assisting the culinary team, including cooks and the kitchen manager, in maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient operation to produce consistently exceptional food in a high volume environment.

Responsibilities:

Assist the kitchen manager and cooks in creating an exceptional experience for Hardywood’s customers.

Operate a mechanical dishwashing machine while assisting with hand washing and sanitizing of a wide range of smallwares, utensils, and cooking tools.

Organize, maintain, and clean all food storage areas.

Assist with occasional beer dinners at Hardywood’s Richmond or West Creek breweries, or off-site.

Report to the kitchen manager and assist with additional tasks throughout the brewery as needed.

Job Requirements:

Strong oral communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.

Previous restaurant, catering, or bakery experience preferred.

Reliable transportation required.

Ability to remain on feet and lift 40+ pounds throughout shifts of up to 10 hours.

Must be able to work in a fast paced, high volume, open kitchen environment.
