The Granite Grill in Richmond, Virginia, is hiring part-time and full-time Experienced Sauté or Grill Cooks to join the opening kitchen team of this highly anticipated, new full-service restaurant! We are looking for passionate, detail-oriented, and skilled culinary professionals who thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy creating delicious dishes from start to finish. Experienced Sauté or Grill Cooks will receive thorough training on our kitchen and safety procedures, menu items, and company standards to ensure a consistently excellent dining experience for our guests.

* Significant experience as a Sauté Cook or Grill Cook in a full-service, high-volume restaurant is required for this position.

• Prepping, cooking, and plating menu items to meet our high standards
• Ensuring timely and accurate food delivery in a fast-paced setting
• Maintaining a clean and organized workstation, following food safety protocols
• Operating kitchen equipment efficiently and safely
• Communicating effectively with kitchen staff and service team to ensure smooth service

• Kitchen experience in a full-service, high-volume restaurant
• Strong knowledge of food preparation, kitchen equipment, cooking techniques, and knife skills
• Ability to multitask in a busy kitchen environment
• Positive attitude and a team-oriented mindset
• Flexibility to work evenings and weekends
• Must be 18 years of age, able to lift up to 30lbs, and able to stand/move about the kitchen for the duration of the shift

The Granite Grill is an upscale, classic American grill located in the Stoney Point Shopping Center at Huguenot and Forest Hill Avenue. Our menu features seafood, steaks, signature burgers, salads, and familiar appetizers deliciously prepared with fresh ingredients. Our stylish new space includes a well-stocked bar, spacious covered patio, comfy leather booths, and a cozy private event space. The Granite Grill is owned and operated by Big Kitchen Hospitality, a Richmond-based company since 2013. Our other restaurants include Tazza Kitchen and Conejo.
