Overview
Westminster Canterbury Richmond is seeking an experienced Household Specialist/Dining to serve menu items from a limited menu for residents in a caring, home‑like environment. The position involves working nights and weekends, and requires a full‑time commitment.
The role demands a resourceful problem‑solver who thrives in a fast‑paced environment, delivers superior quality care, and treats residents as if they were their own family members.
Responsibilities- Serve menu items to residents in a timely, courteous manner.
- Ensure the dining area is clean, stocked, and maintains safety and sanitation standards.
- Perform light cooking, sandwich preparation, and cleaning tasks as needed.
- Maintain accurate inventory and report shortages or issues to the supervisor.
- At least 6 months of customer service experience; 1-2 years of related work experience preferred.
- Experience working with senior adults is preferred.
- Must be able to lift 20 lbs unassisted and stand for up to four hours at a time.
- High School Diploma or equivalency required.
- Serv Safe certification desired.
- Must pass a pre‑employment drug screening and background check.
- Ability to respond politely to residents, staff, and the public.
- Ability to read and understand written and verbal communication.
