General InformationWe are currently seeking applications for organized, detail-oriented individuals to join our Museum Shop Department as a Stockroom Coordinator.
The Stockroom Coordinator oversees day-to-day stockroom and warehouse operations and supports e-commerce and store operations. As the primary point of contact for merchandise processing, receiving, transfers, and data entry, the Coordinator keeps the stockroom and warehouse clean, safe, and organized and moves merchandise and fixtures between the shop and warehouse. The role assists the Online Sales and Marketing Manager by picking, packing, and shipping online orders and managing inventory in Magento, helps with shop and event setups and deinstallations, and is trained on all Counterpoint POS functions, supporting both front-of-house and back-of-house teams.
This is a salaried, non-exempt position.
- Prior experience in merchandise processing, stockroom or warehouse management, data entry, shipping and receiving (including UPS, Fed Ex, and freight deliveries), and order fulfillment.
- Experience with inventory management procedures, Counterpoint, and Magento.
- Ability to operate a hand truck, pallet jack, and other warehouse equipment, including on loading docks.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to transport merchandise and fixtures to and from offsite facilities.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to work efficiently and professionally in a fast-paced environment, both independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to stand for long periods of time (with scheduled breaks) and to lift and transport merchandise over 50 lbs.
