Equipment Rental Specialist

Overview

Equipment Rental Specialist role at Sunbelt Rentals, Inc. This position is part of inside sales and involves supporting telephone and walk-in customers with rental equipment for construction and industrial needs. The Equipment Rental Specialist is an inside sales role responsible for assisting customers with rental equipment, processing orders, and ensuring high-quality service. Strong administrative skills and customer-focused service are essential.

• Assist telephone and walk-in customers with rental equipment and related services
• Understand customer equipment needs and negotiate and place orders
• Provide professional, courteous service to ensure customer satisfaction
• Perform administrative tasks efficiently to support sales operations
• Collaborate with team members to meet customer needs and drive business growth

• High School diploma or GED required
• Valid Driver’s license required
• Familiarity with construction/industrial tools and equipment
• Previous equipment rental industry experience (preferred)
• Strong customer service and telephone skills
• Solid computer and administrative skills
• DOT Qualification process completion (preferred)
• Bilingual ability (Spanish or other) may be preferred in some locations

The physical demands of this role require bending, squatting, crouching, reaching, lifting 50 pounds or more, and working indoors/outdoors as required by the job. Reasonable accommodations may be made to comply with applicable laws.

You will become eligible for benefits on the first of the month following 30 days from your start date. Sunbelt offers paid time off (subject to Sunbelt’s policies): 12-25 vacation days, 5 sick days, 6 holidays, 2 half-day holidays, 2 floating holidays, 1 inclusion day, 1 volunteer day.
