Sales Associate – Off Campus Partners (Richmond, VA)

OverviewAs a Sales Associate, you will manage relationships with student housing providers, work closely with the Sales team, and help clients achieve marketing goals through digital advertising solutions. You will also prospect new clients and grow existing accounts.
Responsibilities- Business Development – Prospect opportunities, develop new business, and identify upsell and renewal opportunities with current customers using CoStar Group’s market data.
- Relationship Management – Build and maintain relationships with clients as a trusted advisor, growing revenue.
- Business Industry Acumen – Develop subject‑matter expertise in digital advertising strategies, multifamily real estate, and market trends.
- Teamwork – Partner with colleagues across teams to drive sales revenue and provide exceptional customer service.
- Customer Focus – Deliver outstanding support, share market insights, and offer solutions that help clients achieve their goals.
- One year of satisfactory inside sales experience at CoStar Group or a current Off Campus Partners employee.
- Bachelor’s degree (Business Administration, Communications, or Marketing). Preferable from an accredited, not‑for‑profit university.
- Two or more years of B2B sales experience, preferably in digital marketing or advertising sales; or equivalent in student housing or multifamily industry.
- Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and quotas in a consultative sales environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Communications, or Marketing.
- Ability to analyze data, build reports, and make strategic recommendations.
- Flexible and adaptable in a high‑growth environment.
- Self‑starter who can work both independently and within a team, with strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Experience managing customer relationships through the entire lifecycle.
- Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge or experience in the student housing industry.
- Evidence of strong academic performance in college.
