Position: Sales Associate, Sales Development Program (May 2026 Grads)

Overview

Sales Associate, Sales Development Program (May 2026 Grads) — CoStar Group. Aimed at aspiring sales professionals to kickstart their sales careers through an immersive and innovative program. After an initial three weeks of training, participants are placed into one of CoStar’s brands: , , Loop Net, or CoStar Sales (CRE).

Based in Richmond, VA, you’ll gain experience working with sales teams, contributing to key sales initiatives, and learning how to drive business success within the residential, commercial, and multi-family real estate and property technology sectors.

Responsibilities
  • Relationship Management:
    Cultivate customer relationships to boost advertising reach through a subscription model as part of the customer’s marketing strategy.
  • New Business Development:
    Conduct outbound calls for prospecting, cold calling, and other methods to build a sales pipeline and secure new business.
  • Educate Customers:
    Demonstrate the value of , , Loop Net & CoStar through virtual demonstrations, trainings, and workshops.
  • Initiative and Action:
    Exceed monthly sales goals and performance metrics.
  • Teamwork:
    Collaborate with colleagues to drive brand and business revenue.
  • Customer Focus:
    Maintain strong relationships by providing outstanding support, sharing insights, and offering appropriate solutions.

Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited, in-person college or university, with a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.2; graduating May 2026.
  • Interest in managing and growing customer relationships through the entire customer life cycle, including contact and pipeline management.
  • Track record of commitment to prior employers.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Energetic team contributor with a positive attitude and competitive spirit.
  • Driven, results-oriented, and able to work in a team environment.
  • Self-starter: highly organized with strong attention to detail; able to work independently and in a team.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing situations in a high-growth company.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Data analysis skills to analyze data and provide strategic insights to customers.
  • Adaptability to changing situations in a high-growth company.
  • Prior sales experience in a B2B role, especially in digital marketing/advertising or within residential, commercial, and/or multi-family real estate.
  • Virtual demonstrations experience selling to customers, peers, professors, or organizations.
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish (written and verbal).
