What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
  • Develop and implement advanced sales strategies to manage a high-value business portfolio for profitable growth
  • Own assigned territory, managing business development and performance metrics
  • Conduct agency diagnostics to assess performance and identify growth opportunities
  • Facilitate agency appointments and build long‑term relationships through in-person and virtual visits
  • Utilize data and analytics to guide strategic sales decisions and identify opportunities for additional products
What is Required (Qualifications)
  • Bachelor's degree in sales, marketing, business, or related field
  • Four years of sales experience within the insurance industry
  • Must reside in the territory managed and have the ability to travel up to 75% of the time
  • Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
  • Five or more years of insurance sales or related experience
  • Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) or willingness to pursue
  • Extensive knowledge of Travelers products and the Property & Casualty marketplace
  • Demonstrated skills in coaching, training, and mentoring others
  • Ability to utilize digital sales tools effectively
