People Solutions has been retained by a well-established industrial controls and process equipment company to identify an experienced Sales Director to lead and develop its Mid-Atlantic sales organization.

This is a newly created leadership role focused on improving sales execution, developing the team, strengthening pipeline visibility, and converting more opportunities into engineered projects.

• Lead, coach, and develop outside sales professionals
• Run pipeline reviews and participate in customer ride-alongs
• Improve opportunity qualification, proposals, and close rates
• Help develop scopes of work and coordinate subcontractors
• Grow existing industrial, OEM, and contractor accounts
• Build a more consistent sales process and reporting structure
• Support manufacturer programs, leads, and business-plan goals
• Drive new account growth across the Mid-Atlantic

• Manufacturer's rep, industrial distributor, or manufacturer selling through reps/distributors
• Technical B2B sales experience in controls, automation, instrumentation, valves, drives, combustion, thermal systems, or related industrial products
• Experience leading outside sales teams
• Proven success closing engineered project work
• Ability to travel throughout Virginia and the Mid-Atlantic

Combustion, burner management, boiler controls, thermal processing, or NFPA 86 experience is highly desirable.

• Base: $150,000-$175,000
• Target total compensation: $200,000-$225,000
• Health insurance, 401(k), and vehicle/mileage support
