Pay$25‑$30 per hour (state dependent).
ScheduleNon‑standard hours: workdays and hours vary with business needs. No fixed schedule; weekends, overtime, and holidays are required. Start times may be as early as 3:00 AM; standard shifts are 8 hours but may extend up to 16 hours.
LocationOn‑road duties with potential overnight stays when necessary.

Conduct field surveillance investigations, observing, tracking, and documenting subjects’ activities; capture detailed video evidence and prepare comprehensive reports.
- Monitor and record subjects during daily activities
- Perform vehicular and on‑foot surveillance with discretion
- Develop and execute pre‑surveillance planning
- Document findings via video and written reports
- Capture subjects in public spaces, events, and workplaces
- Submit reports and evidence within required time frames
- Communicate consistently with team leaders
- Utilize digital surveillance equipment and investigative software
- Maintain confidentiality and professionalism
- Adhere to safety, legal, and ethical standards
- Reliable vehicle with legal dark tint
- Smartphone
- Laptop with Microsoft Word
- Digital camcorder with date/time stamp and upload capability
- Covert camera of choice
- Tripod/monopod
- SD cards if applicable
- Highly observant and detail‑oriented
- Strong integrity, independence, and reliability
- Excellent judgment and situational awareness

- Self‑motivated and capable of autonomous work
- Strong written and verbal communication
- Professional demeanor and discretion for client confidentiality
- Eager to learn and grow in investigative industry
- 1+ years of private investigator experience (excluding law enforcement/military)
- 21 years of age or older
- Valid driver’s license with clean DMV record
- High school diploma or equivalent (required); college degree preferred
- Personal auto insurance with liability limits of 100k/300k/100k
- Proficient reading and following directions
- Independent, customer‑service oriented, with strong interpersonal, organizational, and multitasking skills
- Flexibility and effective time management
- Availability to work holidays, weekends, and overtime
- Regular, predictable, full attendance as assigned (essential function)
- Willingness to travel and work scheduled hours, starting as early as 3:00 AM
- Completion of employment application, background check, and other pre‑employment tasks as required
